Mine
When I found mine, I'll know . Not from the baby cries or wedding bells, Not from unbreathable kisses or the eyes, But from the silence between synchronised heartbeats. The kind that sounds like peace. All my guards, sword up dripping red. Eyes red, bags for years. Will finally slumber at the gates, I won't tell em to, they'll feel the time. I've walked too long in half-light, Learned to build calm in chaos, Smile like I don't remember the storms. But I do,fr,I do. Still, I'll stand there, unarmored,if the soul before me feels like home. No games,no chase — Just the quiet knowing that this time I don't have to control to feel safe . And if that moment never comes. I'll keep my circle clean, Still love the way I breathe, with caution, check the air I inhale. Because when I found mine, I'll know. And damn sure, all the guards will slumber.
