Mindmines
Our pondering hithers And we try to think around slivers But then a thorny thought occurs And an edged emotion stirs A spiral into combustion A mindscapes eruption Releasing turmoil Cracking the thought-rich soil An unsettling mindquake We shake unwillingly for hell's sake Then we shovel our minds and think much deeper And we dig out the God forsaken creeper That reconstructs our perception And conducts a world full of deception And we're left to be deceived As it commits theft of what only wants to be relieved So then our thoughts swim in seas of sorrow And then we constantly worry about tomorrow What's lively and green Is then no longer seen What's all inter-connected Is forgotten and neglected But little do we know That the only thing performing this freak show Is in one space that we tend to misplace One district that we struggle to depict One zone that we forget to call home A place not far from where we think A specific spot that's easy to link Only in one area out of all kinds A place we like to call our very own minds
