Mime
Once, I loved a girl And she was cool, But at night she'd cry And I'd be sad too. She was a mime at heart, clearly But I loved her acting, oh! So dearly. Her fake smile, same curious eyes Never questioned her tragic lies Until the day I was aware Of the way she'd sit and stare With an empty mind, pleasant sky But our end was surely nigh Because her hand, it wasn't holding Mine back, as I was hoping I regret, and I let it go But I'll never let her know. When she left, she looked once back And she truly made my heart crack Life goes on, but I can't shake The memories and silly faces She used to make. She has a soul And I do too But without hers It's feeling blue.
