Might Rulers
Oh Lords, mighty ruler. Your duty as a lord is to serve the ruled. Power corrupt indeed, your selfishness is uncovered. Behold, our voices ignored. Your lies pierced our trust like a sword. Once we were loyal, like a dog to it's master. Yet treachery are your action, killing the lot like a cancer. We thought you were the ones, here as the answer. In honour of oath, you were bestowed as the people's light. To be the lamp unto their feet in the weary night. Pity are those who still look to you for hope and growth. For you have shamed the honour of an oath. Long have our lands cry. Craving for a sign from the sky. So,I sought a new path. Holding duly a new found desire. And a waiting upon my Messiah.
