midnight cry
I stare at the mirror on the wall mine can never be' who's the fairest of them all' I rather shed tears at my own reflection those were the scars of years ago but they bleed 🩸 as though it were yesterday my shadow rises behind me to remind my younger version that I've failed her I'm screaming for help but it's late they shout I'm a mess and I'm sorry for that she believed in me 🥺she gave up her existence just for me to exist she made me promise that I won't fail her I would give up my life just for her to exist once more. It's a midnight cry that only my inner child will understand It's the painful cry that shatters me It's the voiceless midnight cry that haunts me
