Midnight boy 2/2
The moon sparkles happier tonight. Song of the river is much more pleasant. Wind carries the smell of ashes, There is no meaning anymore... My eyes search for you, Do I want you here? Do I need you to prevent? My thoughts mix with the water. But I am here right now, And you are here, And we are here, So stay just a bit longer, And I will follow you wherever. Oh, midnight boy, Can't you coexist with happiness? Why is it that whenever you are here, I am drowning in despair? Your time is up! I don't seek your pity! So just, let me die! Let me die in peace! Single touch and all your thoughts gone As pure as a dove falling from the sky The saint's words can be comforting As long as you can escape as quick Suddenly, a hand reached for me An emotion I can't name just yet. This feeling of rebirth, Or better yet, non-existence Arms holding me tightly, so warm Accompanied by a tear in your eye As I watch you dissolve, Just before sunrise.
