Met Me🤕
I met my soul Once by the banks, Floating over the waters. Did he look happy? He had wings, Once white, now turning grey. They seemed to have no life. Had they become his ruin? His eyes were red, Sore for reasons I did not know, But they held tears. Do souls cry? I asked him What made him so sorry?. He smiled. Was it her? I thought it was, his silence echoed I wish it was! I stared at him with confusion What do you mean?! Talk to me But he just looked at me As though I behold the answers in his eyes I long for HIM I want HIM Just as well the deer pants for waters The words came out heavy but broken H–I–M, I stuttered My state?? Ineffable
