Mesmerised
I know I shouldn't but I still do Why do I care so much I'm just a fool But it's everything about her that I can't reject On me, she just has this charming effect Her eyes, her voice, her laugh and her smile For her I'd run breathlessly mile after mile All the times we spent together, especially alone When I lay on her shoulder and she scrolled on her phone I'll never forget, it was more than two years ago But her and that moment are just things I won't let go Her eyes are so hypnotising that I just say yes If she knew she had control over me I'd be a mess She'd use it to her advantage that my vulnerability Is easy access to her and I'm just her necessity There if she needs me but she doesn't really care But just a year ago we made an inseparable pair I miss that still and why? I just say, “but her eyes,” They're the one thing to always have me mesmerised.
