Mental Cage
stuck with the consequences of fate another one drew the scheme trail Cursed to live with the burden No one wants to help carry And I can pretend it's not hurting But the wounds proves the theory it doesn't matter what you have done or what you haven't done If it's your destiny There's no running away People can offer their hand But does it always help? Their expectations I have to meet Yet they haven't lived through my deed When there's no understanding there's no aid that's healing I see in their helpless eyes But it carves into my heart straight right guilt I feel for letting them know that there's no end to my suffering Therefore I know, my silence is not a sword. It's the embrace I provide to not let them see the plain truth in sight. In oblivion they carry on Without a thought about my soul. Because that's the reality they should've got.
