Men are not to be trusted
Men are not to be trusted that’s what you say, yet you’d never talk to your own father with the same reckless tongue. You adjust your stance only when it suits you, like dust bowing to water. Tell me do you want breadcrumbs from the table, or do you want a seat at the table? All this hatred blooms from lust, greed, and quiet discontent. You demand trust, yet you make no effort to stand firm like armies against brigands. You expect roses, yet disgust guides every step you take. You don’t know what you want. You’re living in delusions and calling it your way of life. I pray you learn to readjust, so you don’t combust and drift off like stardust. Retrace your missteps. Retract your mistrust. Let your mind accept that men can be trusted. All these misconstrued misconceptions are turning you into a pothead of your own chaos.
