Memories
I only knew you for a short while, but every day, you would make me smile. Memories filled with lots of laughter. A moment in time, the camera would capture. I still remember you tickling my knee. The sound of your voice saying you love me. I can't remember our last embrace. Somehow, that memory has been erased. Always there in the morning, but that day came with no warning. Went to school, scared to death. I didn't know you took. Your last breath. I came home and hoped to see, you sitting there waiting for me. Instead, I was met with tears of sadness emotions spiraling , with thoughts of madness. The deepest pain I've ever felt, the lasting effects couldn't be helped. Living without you. It has been hard, deep depression and heavily scarred. Although you're with me every day. The pain and hurt are here to stay. I'll never forget the man you became, my dad, my father, that was your name.
