Memories
When I look at you, I saw a glimpse of us. The attire of our innocence, With a load of books and stationery, Dream of an unforeseen future, The laughter of adolescence. On the ground, we played together, The seat we shared, The endless lecture, Incomplete assignment. The bell of food, Combat to share the recipe of the feast. Occasionally stolen conversations with you, Kept an exceptional spot on the bus. Silly fight and sullen face, the chocolates to amend the disputes. The first greets of the morning, The relief of absent teachers, And the heart attack of surprise test. Exhausting physical training, Fear of coach, Unplanned skipping of the monotonous span of drowsiness, And the horrendous sketch you created. That's the beginning of something beautiful and unexpected, From aliens to best companions. Until we all collapse, Like the distorted memories.
