Memento Mori
Lord, I've always wondered when my time will come. Is it tonight, tomorrow? I know it's someday. There are times where I wish that day will come sooner or later. Will I go to heaven? hell? or in purgatory? I used to be afraid of death during my younger years, however, as I've gotten older, the concept of death has become familiar and comforting, as strange as it sounds. My mother always tells me to pray for a peaceful death and I pray to you God to give me one when the time comes. Lord, when the time comes, I hope to see you embrace me into your arms, happy that your child is with you once again. Memento mori, death is inevitable.
