"meet you again"pt2
i ask the heavens, plead to the skies, Will I see you again beyond this life? Was it all in vain, every plan and hope? Now I’m dangling at the end of rope. Our memories blur like dreams at dawn, Your laughter fades, but pain lives on. You erased yourself—and pieces of me, Now joy feels like a mockery. My rock, my friend—we always said, We’d face this life until the end. But you stopped short, and I’m still here, Stuck with silence, soaked in tears. So I’ll meet you at the graveyard gate, Talk to the wind, wrestle with fate. Wish I could hold you, but all I do Is cry in the place I still feel you. Faced up, cold heart, in the ground so deep— But in my mind, you never sleep. So I come here, broken, just to be near, To the one I lost, to the one I held dear.
