medusa
(Inspired by the story of medusa) men loved me, but I loved you I was devoted to you, but you only saw that the men loved me and forgot about you. you became mad at me, but I loved you, you turned my warm skin into cold scales, my glowing hair into biting snakes, my beautiful eyes became stone cold. when men looked at me before they smiled, now their smiles fade and their warm skin turns into a forever lasting stone. But I still loved you, I still was devoted to you and even though you did this to me I still forgave you. one last man came to me he was holding a shield, a glowing Shield, so beautifully polished it was turned into a mirror, a mirror of silver. for the first time I saw me my scaly skin, my biting snakes and my stone cold eyes I looked at them, I looked at my eyes, my stone cold eyes. everything became warm I felt tears streaming over my warm skin, I felt my glowing hair over my warm neck, my stone cold eyes where now warm for a short while I was happy, Happy again and I stayed happy till the light was gone and everything became black. I was at peace now thanks to you I forgave you and you forgave me and I still love you athena.
