Me Time
The house is still, a quiet hum, The children gone, the day begun. My husband's off, his work to do, And I am left, with just me, too. A steaming mug, a warm embrace, My phone in hand, a peaceful space. My thoughts take flight, a swirling stream, Of past and future, joy and dream. The happy times, the moments sad, The choices made, the paths I've had. They dance and swirl, a vibrant hue, As I reflect, and start anew. This quiet time, a precious gift, To gather thoughts, and let them drift. A moment's peace, a pause to breathe, Before the day's demands, I leave. So yes, my friend, you're not alone, This quiet time, a woman's own. A chance to think, to feel, to be, Just simply me, and truly free. By Neha
