me and who?
In the mirror’s gaze, a face I see, A stranger, yet a part of me. “Me,” I whisper, a familiar sound, But who’s the one within this ground? “Myself,” I ponder, a deeper thought, The essence hidden, yet dearly sought. A tapestry of dreams and fears, Of laughter, tears, and passing years. But then a question, soft and low, “Who” am I, where do I go? Beyond the surface, the skin and bone, A soul unfurling, yet unknown. The “me” I see, the “myself” I know, Are but reflections, a fleeting show. The “who” I seek, a mystery deep, A journey inward, secrets to keep. So I journey on, with open heart, To find the answer, to play my part. For in the search, the truth I’ll find, The “me,” the “myself,” and the “who” combined.
