ME
There’s a flicker of hope in the darkness, Yet dwelling beneath its shadows feels safer Than enduring the cruelty of this world. Yes, the cruel world But is cruelty just a manifestation within me? Agony, misery, suffering, torment They’ve never left my side, Chaining me to despair, away from hope. What more could this world hold? Or is it just me, trapped in this way? If it was only meh, why does it ache Like the broken vow? Was I the chosen one, Condemned to live a life That brings nothing but remorse? For now, nothing remains To save me from this abyss. Leave... It doesn’t matter anymore My soul has died, Witnessing the truths of this cruel world. Stay... And realize, perhaps, This was never meant for me. ~Vincy Issac
