I've been the best healer through words but fail to mend my own fractures I've been the best teacher but struggle to learn my own lessons I guide others through darkness and lose my soul there I'm the best consoler but can't soothe my own heart I calm the storms of others while mine rage on I'm the best motivator yet I lose my own drive I ignite sparks in others but my own flame flickers I'm the best inspiration to others' eyes but forget to see my own worth I'm the best friend to others in need but when I'm down I'm left to face my demons alone I'm the best lover with a heart full of love but forget to give it to the one who needs it most me .....and the cycle repeats.
