me
addictive, I am, a disease running through me, a rough road to go alone, always unsure, who am I, where do I belong, the only thing that quiets my mind is liquor and pills, I've always wanted to feel normal, whatever normal is, these habits are ,, maladaptive, put here to ruin me, learned behavior, generational trauma, I have stopped, but will this stick, can I be better than what was before me, will I change the future in front of me, I deserve better so I do better, addiction will not win this battle, because just like addiction I am strong.
