This morning barely opened its eyes. So did I. The weight of my limbs refused to rise, So I thought—*maybe just stay*, Let the silence stitch itself Around my still body. Unmoving. Unbothered. Unseen. But then a call came. A voice, asking me to be there. And so I sewed my skin to my bones, Tied muscle around will, And forced myself back Into something like a person. Barely. I smoked more than usual. Eighteen? Twenty? Maybe more. I wasn’t counting — I wasn’t *there*. Not really. I sat with people who felt real, Talking of dreams, futures, Heights I’ve never touched. And even as I admired them, A quiet ache grew in my chest— *How far behind am I?* But I adored them, I truly did. For their wanting. For their reaching. For being so 'alive' ( check for the part 2)
