May tomorrow bring peace

I woke up to the early mornings glow With a new understanding of something Soon I would know To a light that would shine Brighter then any other before I embraced it, and planted it In my soul Seeing you - seeing myself Trust in you and no one else This true sign Of a newer me lying ahead My future staring me straight in the eye As I wait in patience for a new door to open Once invited, I look forward to live in the present I leave my past far in back where my mind is thin Once the clouds rose Now no matter rain or shine My days are filled with only rays built from Sun’s shine Never again will I take for granted the gift of the open mind Looking with wide eyes, so I may see using my heart Listening for only pure sound Allowing my mind to absorb only it’s truth while listening to others I now look, listen with a open mind and wider arms Embracing all inside my heart To love one another, while thanking our souls each day For giving us a chance to be more mindful to each other While staying less in harms way.
