Masked Evil
Diminished like the grains of sand Doubted the only believer I had Raised the sins of pride and prejudice Carried the ignorance of others upon this head Now I know, oh how clearly I know How this heart should love, sidelining the rest They are the evil without them knowing To ignore, is the solution, placing this self upon the highest crest As they claim the book of love, but only know the rituals of crushing and ruining Hard to identify, carrying a grotesque smile, feeding a broken heart inside their chest Venomous are they, it's the soul they are lacking And oh how masterfully they lie, lying to the world, lying to their own very self
