March of the New World
Fearless woman, You lead our people like a beacon of Hope Guiding us through the smoky haze Of prejudice and senseless hate To the promised land of true Justice. For far too long, We’ve been divided, Too concentrated on Bloodlust And hierarchical Pride that separates us From our brothers and sisters. But now is the time to change the past; For History does not truly repeat itself. So take your swords, And turn them into muskets, into pistols Today we unite all the People In this New Age of Enlightenment, Let us turn the world upside down: Rich men, Poor men, Old men, Young men Being led by you, Profound woman, To Eden, where we are delivered. Let us change the order of the world So that the New Age may prosper In the world that we have provided for them Where hunger, thirst, and poverty Might be a worry of the past. The Future is in your hands, exalting woman As you guide us with that tricolor Of beauty and protection; Let the Old World fade away As a New one starts to take hold.
