March Madness
Are you ready for the madness; Ready for the madness of March?! For the best of college basketball, It's always the best time of year! With all of the joy and the sadness, Those long shots from beyond the arc, And I think the best of it all, Is the crowd's unbridled cheers. Midst the tumultuous zeal Shown by the high seeds and low, They play with the winner's syndrome Until all of their playing is done. The atmosphere's always surreal Wherever you choose to go And it's, "you must win or go home," Until the championship's won! So, hey all you players who dance Although I don't know your names; I wish you and your schools the best As your teams play basketball! And to all you soothsayers of chance Predicting the outcome of games, I hope your bracket meets the test And you become lucky winners all!
