Manufactured Cold
Now this seems so distant a place. Frost on winds gust only for ice. The crater shone absence on its face. Expression pays vacancy, doesn't think twice. You are so far from me, but as close as ever. Mutual affinity grown of compassion being severed. Upon the frozen winds that do for warmth so long Are the razors of a frost which insist the Sun is gone. It is no more far away, but arrived and now come here. By gale forces of subzero serenades And this emptiness, an impact intact unadhered. Desolation's faces forged where our resilience is made. Not but one thing of this world could take you from me. The birthplaces of light, what melts away the cold. Strength and serenity by companionship is bound free. Only the ice of your intentions could tear you from my hold..
