Mantra's Of Freewill
There's a phase of life you can't help but long for the one that your heart knows is your primary source of strength and warmth In this ever revolving door of choices We find ourselves picking the door that hurts the most When we then desire the warmth that heals and keeps us afloat, we become ashamed to reach out cause we dread the look of disappointment than the healing we need When such a choice is made, we begin to dig deeper into the endless pit of trauma and depression The statement "I'll rather die than reach out" stuck firmly at the back of our minds Like the many ideologies the African home has instilled deep within our souls, never to loosen its grip Free will then becomes the mantra we've heard right from birth Life outside such mantra is a fairy tale we can read about but never play out.
