There is no definitive explanation as to what this was or where it came from The origin from where it was laid down Various thoughts abound up and down The Israelites gathered it from the ground. Forty years lost hot in a  desert town "Man Hu" is what they ate and found. (What it is? ) was written on the mounds The silence was the sound In times of need, sharing is caring So Miraculously sent by God there was "manna "because he knew they could not handle it.
