manifesto to all my crushes
nice guy, nice guy, I've been waiting so patiently for u to say hi, but u probably don't even know I'm alive and thats what makes me so shy, why, because you have so many reasons to decline, in the end I'll still be left here wanting to cry in this poem I write, anonymous outlet of u on my mind, when I catch a glimpse of your eye, although u wouldn't think of anything once, or even twice I feel caterpillars start to fly, like stars twinkling in the night reality, it always has to win every fight but what if this time I'm right, he ends up being everything I dreamt of him to be like, what if he's kind, maybe he'll give me like everyone else a high five, or kiss me special with mutual delight, yet that would all just be a lie, since it doesn't seem like that will happen tonight so, I remain in wonder, wondering if the nice guy, ever was really that nice
