MAN WITH NO DESIRE
In a quiet vale where shadows play, Lived a man whose heart held no sway. No dreams to chase, no golden prize, A wanderer lost, with no desires. He woke with dawn, under skies so grey, With simple thoughts, he went on his way. The sun would rise, the moon would gleam, Yet in his soul, no wish, no dream. He watched the streams, so crystal clear, Yet felt no longing, nor hope, nor fear. The flowers bloomed, their colors bright, But in his heart, they found no light. With every step on the mossy ground, In the midst of life, he glanced around. Yet passion's flame had long since died, In a world so vast, he chose to abide. Though others strived for fortune and fame, The man with no desires knew no shame. Content he wandered, in peace he stayed, In each fleeting moment, his soul arrayed. Thus through the ages, his tale is spun, Of a man who cherished the quiet sun. No earthly chains, no burdens to bear, In the calm of his heart, the world laid bare.
