man
I fell in love with a boy. he's sweet, charming, handsome, and everything I've been searching for. my mama always said to find a good man that treats me well. this one does as long I let myself feel. he's not the problem here. no baby, because he does everything right. it's me, my brain and I. it's the demons at night. the ones I've been fighting all my life. they whisper horrible things in the quiet. you're not good enough, he's gonna leave, he don't really love you, you don't deserve him, you annoy him, soon enough he'll find someone better. I hate them and don't believe what they say. but deep down that little girl who always wanted someone like him, can't help but wonder if what they say is slightly true. after all I don't even know if I could love myself. so how can this man love me still?
