makeup with mom
i color her face with parts of my world eyelids of brilliant blue and dark waterlines liner so sharp it could pierce through hearts comb through her brows separating the stands and decorate her cheeks and nose with glittering stars she smile frowns in the mirror i don't think she likes the color of my world she walks outside walks back in and says her friends don't either her laughs feel crushing she radiates shame and sadly no longer is she in my world but i wonder what she'd think of my makeup now
