Magnifying Glass
Your bitter words cause me to crumble like sand. Stomach acid erodes the flesh of my hand, wearing it down to the bone for all to see, Full of judgement, terror. All eyes are on me. They're waiting, anticipating with a magnifying glass hovering over my every move. I'm just a dissected animal, a circus act. Something inhuman meant to be examined in a test tube. I beg to be loveable whilst I am but a rotting corpse Flesh peeled back as would a creaky swung open door. Bones and tendons on display for the audience to see -- With a magnifying glass weighing heavily down on me.
