Madness in darkness Dancing on glass Romancing the past Making love to my pain I'm getting ready For the fall but This time On my way down Jumping to my death Stronger than myself Beating my master No longer a slave These heavy thoughts Pretending them away With a fake smile Stopping each tear Acting unnecessary Not in my way Surrounded by incompetence Filling in the parts That doesn't belong Guilt by association My character fades Living through a ghost Covered in ash My shadow only knows Going through motions That cought my soul Catching every emotion Tripping them away Buried deep My pit of empathy Never makes sense Madness in darkness Letting me go
