Made of Scars
I was never foolish— just a tender soul who knew how to care, but never how to hurt. And still, the ones I loved most left the deepest wounds. As I grew, loneliness became a room I stayed in. No bright days, just battles inside my head, and silence louder than any scream. Friends faded, promises broke, masks fell. Only my family stayed, asking, noticing. The rest? They disappeared quietly. They made me question myself, hate myself— but somewhere within, I knew: I am not a failure. God saw it all— how I stood by others, how they walked away. And still, He stayed. He never let me fight alone. I don’t know where this path goes, but I’ll keep walking. Because even in ruins, I am rising— becoming the person they never saw in me.
