MACHINES AND MERCY
I held a life in Numbers and trusted a Rhythm of a screen I Reached for precise answers That could measure a failing heart Every wound held a different story Every silent screamed for the promises made No graph could hold the trembling No chart could bear the weight In a funeral pace life slipping Softly, beyond the fate In the fading when the screen began to lie I learned how fragile and futile the spirit is Was there ever a choice?? All that lingered was either to trade an emotion for an answer or sit back while the fate quietly fades As the pauses widened, A spike split the silence open, and breath returned to assure breeze,It stirred the chaos within and left me wondered Life is more than numbers and never ours to Save!
