Maa
Cold winds swirl around him, Waves touch his feet, He sits on the sand still and empty, Eyes moist and body quivering, emptiness on the shoulder once his wife leaned on, Emptiness around his elbow his wife once held tight, Emptiness on cheek once his wife kissed on, Her smiles, her voice, her talks, Warm tears roll down his cheeks, Tiny hands now circle around his neck, their daughter leans onto his back, Merry and cheerful, she speaks 'Look papa, a rare tiny seashell, maa would love this, why didn't she come with us?' Her innocent eyes brimming to hug her maa and kiss her nose -Sumit Arlab (the_voidwriter)
