Luxury
My heart yearns for the life of ease, A life free of such trauma So I could rise each morning with none of this grief No guns blazing or family's strife No voices raised in a say shouting But just a warmth and a certain feeling growing All within this sanctuary of home Where I don't have to be strong And I can blossom with joy I've never known No more fears of the shadows that lurk in the night No more playing tunes of sorrow's fright But of a gentle voice in the calm of the evening light That would be the perfect life of ease With no terrors which would me appease No more holding tight to these memories So I'd be content in my soul and breathe In hospitality I'd find true peace That much needed luxury of an easy life that I seek.
