Lust
My heart yearns in a fire untamed, A hunger fierce, a flame unchained. In depths of darkness, desire persists, Aching for love with passionate fits. I long for a touch, so sweet and divine, To taste love's nectar, to make it mine. But chastity's whispers echo strong, Fighting temptation, resisting the wrong. Oh, how these desires consume my soul, A raging tempest beyond control. I bow in prayer, seeking divine grace, To cleanse this longing, to find my place. Yet still, my heart yearns, it cannot rest, For love's relentless grip is blessed. In this turmoil of human need, Religion and lust so tightly weave. I seek balance, a truthful blend, To reconcile these forces within. To find love's essence in sacred flame, Uniting passion and soul's true aim. Oh, my love, your words inspire, To navigate this burning desire. In the midst of yearning, I shall find, A love that transcends, that's sweetly kind.
