Lumina's Light
In the quiet walls of old Intramuros, Lived Lumina, kind and curious. With a smile so soft and hands that care, She cooked and dreamed with love to spare. One day, a guest came through the door, A face from the past she knew before. Alejandro, gentle, brave, and true, Brought back the joy that she once knew. They walked through the streets of cobblestone, Yet deep inside, she felt alone. For hidden in her heart so deep, Were dreams and truths she could not keep. Once a fairy with wings so bright, She fell in love and lost her light. Punished by a king so grand, She woke up one day on human land. Her name was changed, her past erased, Yet love returned, her heart embraced. Alejandro spoke with words so dear, And with each one, she fought her fear. But love, though true, could bring her pain, To love again meant loss. She held his hands, then slipped away, Like morning stars that fade by day. A glow, a tear, then she was gone, But in his heart, she still lives on. Her shawl he held, his voice so low, "Farewell, Lumina, your light will glow."
