I'm on a journey, learning to embrace all that survives, Those hidden shards of me, where shadows seem to play, Unseen, unheard, where no applause finds its way. For too long, I sought validation, in the external gaze, But now, a transformation blooms amidst the haze, I yearn to love the parts that often go unseen, The silent battles fought within, where my courage has been. It's in the scars that map my skin, a tale untold, Woven within layers of stories, so brave and bold, No claps may echo, no cheers arise to resound, Yet within these depths, elements of strength are found. It's in the silence that paints my ever-changing soul, The stormy nights and weary days that make me whole, No applause may echo, no accolades truly arrive, But here, I foster self-love, and my spirit starts to thrive. The moments of vulnerability, tucked away with care, Are the parts I’m learning to cherish, to truly bear, For they make me human, fragile yet sincere, And in their whispers, authenticity becomes clear.
