Loving Machine

My heart has always been full of love, It beats “I love You’s” and flowers “just because.” It pushes forgiveness and empathy throughout my veins, My heart is constantly bursting with love Even on my worst of days. My blood red hot like two new lovers’ faces Fresh from a first kiss. And it brings me strength and life, Like a comforting hug when everything Has gone to shit. My heart is full of love, There is no hate or resentment to be found. My heart understands and forgives others, Even if I'm hurt, beaten or broken down. What a gift it is to be full of love, To be able to understand, empathize and care, To give someone the comfort knowing that I will always be there.
