LOVING IS HARD
No more falling in love, my heart declares For the pain of heartbreak is more than it bears The shattered dreams, the broken trust Leave scars that never seem to rust No more falling in love, my mind agrees For the memories of love lost still make me freeze The tears that fell, the sleepless nights Make me question if it's worth the fights No more falling in love, my soul cries For the emptiness of loveless life feels like a demise The longing for love, the desire to be held Seems like a distant dream, long forgotten and quelled But as I close my eyes, I hear a gentle voice Whispering, "love is a choice, it's your own choice" And I realize, that though love may bring pain It's also the only way to heal and love again. So I take a deep breath, and open my heart
