Loves yearning
I waited for love, with bated breath, Patience stretched thin, as days dissolved to death. Honesty adorned me, like a crest on my sleeve, Yet she never ventured near, this I couldn't believe. Glimmers of hope dwindled, faded into night, Unrequited longing, my heart lost in the fight. Still, I'll keep waiting, for love's sweet serenade, Knowing that destiny's timing cannot be swayed. ©panducollections
