"Love's warning signs π"
My heart beats wide for you, A love that's deep and true. But as I gaze into your eyes, I see red flags, I hear the lies. Your words are sweet and kind, But your actions leave me blind. You promise things you cannot keep, And in the end, I'm left to weep. My love for you is strong, But the red flags don't belong. I need to see a change in you, or else this love will bid adieu. So take this love I offer true, And make the changes that are due. For if you do, our love will last, And we'll forget the troubled past. But if you can't then let me go, For my heart can't take the blow. I'll cherish the memories we shared, But I'll move on, and leave you there. So take this poem as a sign, That my love for you will not decline. But the red flags must be put to rest, For our love to be at it's best.
