"Love's Unexpected Visit"
"Love's Unexpected Visit": Love knocked softly at my door, A gentle tap, a whisper, no more. I stood there, puzzled, unsure, Should I let it in, my heart implore? Unannounced, it came to me, Like a breeze through a window, free. Yet my heart, hesitant as can be, Afraid of what love's touch might decree. In the silence, I heard it call, A melody, a dance in the hall. But fear held me against the wall, Love's invitation, my courage small. So there it lingers, patient and kind, Waiting for me, an open mind. Love's gentle plea, a treasure to find, Behind the door, the heart entwined.
