Love's Painful Dance
We began as strangers in the start, Related by blood, yet strangers at heart. Slowly connections formed, deeper than thought, Bonding soul to soul, though words were not. Yet, words stayed hidden, fears unspoken, For debates might rise and bonds be broken. As we grew closer, differences appeared, Mismatched views and errors we feared, as we knew it would, Differences arose, distances began to grow, Comfort turned uneasy with the flow. Yet through the struggle, this much is true, Challenges we face, reshape our view. From discomfort, comfort’s seeds are sown, It's part of love, this empty phase, But in love’s fire, our hope stays ablaze. I've loved her then, love her now, And will love more, this I vow. All I seek through every strife, Is her happiness, a joyful life.
