love's Outcast
In love's descent, emotions fray, I feel the pull, as trust gives way. The lies I believed, like shadows cast, Now haunt my heart, a love outlast. Standing here, you shift the blame, While I bear wounds from your deceitful game. The vault we built, now empty and bare, I drive away from what was once our shared affair. Our dreams, once vibrant, now shattered and torn, Integrity lost, the bond forever worn. No remnants remain, no solace to find, For love's demise has left us both behind. Falling out of love, a bitter retreat, Leaving behind what was once so sweet. The ashes of passion, now cold and resigned, We part ways, no love left to bind.
