Love's Bite

Love's bite, potent like a viper's strike when it's never reciprocated, the poison and pain slowly flowing towards the heart. Love's bite, the poison that is the realization he will never be enough, no matter how much love he gives and shows how different he is from the rest, slowly flowing towards the heart. Love's bite, now he knows the time is near, the pain is too much to bear, now choking back the tears.
