Lovely Bones
You've bled all your pain into me. Who would have thought that my tears would be the key? Your lovely bones collapse where mine should have. I paint my face black & continue being mohave. I stand still on this land jaded grey. I will never obey, be your prey, or let you mold me like your clay. I refuse to be your martyr. Do you remember where you put your heart ? I forget how to react like the rest of you. I don't know how to react to emotions so I stay staring at your emotions wondering how you feel or why you do. I've seeled & subdued all of me like a tattoo. I've choked your being blue, while dreaming of where to find a clue why I'm withdrawn. I've become haunted like a soul forgetting that waking up is predawn. I guess I'll hold this thorn. I've been told this is pain. Guess I'm not missing anything from life's game.
